Masayuki Hosaka is Executive Vice President and Representative Director-nominated of Rakuten (expected to assume the position of Director upon approval at the 17th Annual General Shareholders Meeting which is planned to be held in March 2014).

Mr. Hosaka is Executive Director of Finance Business of the Company, which includes Card, Bank, Securities, Life Insurance and other businesses. He is also President and Representative Director of Rakuten Edy, Inc. Mr. Hosaka joined Rakuten in 2005.

Prior to Rakuten, Mr. Hosaka worked at ORIX Credit Corporation.
