Tammy Green is the Senior Principal Product Security Architect at Symantec. With more than 20 years of security experience, her specialties are discovering security flaws, identifying security solutions and developing processes to improve security in a usable and practical way. Previously, Green was the Senior Principal Security Architect at Blue Coat Systems, and was the first female Distinguished Engineer at Novell where she created and led the Product Security Team. Green holds a master’s degree in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Tulane University.
