S. Talmadge Singer joined Advantage Capital Partners in 2007. He has managed and negotiated the private placement of over $300 million in debt and equity securities of Advantage Capital funds and assists with other capital raising transactions for the firm. Talmadge Singer also supports the investor relations functions of Advantage Capital, addressing the needs of some of the nation’s largest institutional investors. In connection with these roles, Talmadge Singer works closely with state regulators to implement various tax credit programs and supports the firm’s national expansion efforts and government relations.

Talmadge Singer was previously associated with the Corporate and Securities Section of Thompson & Knight, LLP, where he specialized in securities law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions from fundraising to portfolio company transactions.

Talmadge Singer graduated from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University and was a member of the SMU Law Review Association. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Louisiana State University.
