Mr. Ahluwalia joined Emerging Sovereign Group in 2011 as a junior analyst. Starting in 2013, Mr. Ahluwalia originates and researches investment ideas in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Prior to joining ESG, Mr. Ahluwalia had six years of financial markets experience. From 2007-2009 Mr. Ahluwalia was a generalist at Hound Partners, a long/short equity fund with $2 billion of assets under management. He started his career in the technology group at Credit Suisse from 2005-2007. Mr. Ahluwalia received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2011.
