From seed funding to IPO, Shaunak has worked among a diverse range of high-growth technology companies during his decade-long tenure in Silicon Valley. Shaunak brings a unique
perspective shaped by venture capitalist strategy discussions, involvement in startup successes / failures and an inside view of multi-round venture capital funding.

In his most recent Silicon Valley capacity, Shaunak joined Checkr as a solutions engineer. Checkr, founded in 2014 and funded by well-known venture capital firms such as Accel and Institutional Venture Partners, leverages technology to provide the quickest and most convenient background checks in the industry.

Prior to joining Checkr, Shaunak worked at Optimizely as an Enterprise Solutions Architect, where he guided clients through implementation of Optimizely’s industry-leading A/B testing and
conversion rate software. Shaunak worked with Optimizely customers such as Disney, Jawbone, CNN & iHeart Media to integrate Optimizely’s product into varying customer systems. Shaunak’s technical expertise was recognized when he was asked to speak at Opticon, Optimizely’s annual industry conference, on optimization strategies in electronic media.

Before working at Optimizely, Shaunak joined the engineering support team at industry-leading cloud storage company Box. At Box, Shaunak became a critical intermediary between business
customers and Box engineers where he communicated technical concepts at various client capacities. Shaunak graduated with an undergraduate computer science degree from University of
Pune and went on to obtain a Masters degree in Software Engineering from the University of Southern California.
