Sequoia Taylor is the Managing Partner of Spry Ventures, a technology focused advisory firm working on private placements in the late stage technology sector. She has completed roughly $30 million in private, secondary market transactions for various companies valued at over $1 billion. Prior to founding Spry Ventures, Sequoia was a sub-10 employee at Mattermark, a SaaS startup backed by Y-combinator, Andreessen Horowitz & NEA. Additionally, she spent time as interim chief of staff to the CEO of LiveRamp before the company was acquired by Acxiom. All Spry Ventures' transactions are cleared through a FINRA registered broker dealer, that has completed over 200 trades in the past year alone, and is the market leader for late stage technology transactions. The firm has been working since the secondary market began and it completed the most pre-IPO Facebook transactions. Prior to a career in tech, Sequoia spent 5+ years in investment banking at UBS and Raymond James. She has experience in the tech & media, financial institutions, and debt capital markets groups. Sequoia earned a B.A. from Wellesley College in Sociology and Economics in 2008.
