Seema is a Principal Engineer in the Amazon Marketplace team, which provides a technical platform to enable Selling on Amazon.

During her 9+ years at Amazon, Seema has driven the design and development of multiple, large-scale software systems spanning the Seller Services domain. Seema started in the Seller registration team, working on improving the Seller registration experience from a usability and performance perspective. She then joined the Seller Recommendations team to build the infrastructure to support real-time recommendations for Sellers. Most recently, Seema designed and built the Amazon Marketplace Data Plane, which provides a consistent source of data for Sellers. Seema is passionate about recruiting and mentoring engineers across Amazon.

Seema holds a PhD in Computer Science from University of Florida and her interests span distributed systems, data modeling, and analytics. She thrives on finding simple solutions to complex problems. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family, and enjoys yoga, running, and baking.”
