Sara is co-founder & CEO of Displaced, an audio news app and networking platform in the making that aspires to arm more than 67M displaced people around the world with vital information to help them survive and thrive. She currently holds the position of Director of Communications at Aingel.ai in Silicon Valley and TA Telecom in Egypt. With more than 17 years of experience under her belt, Sara taught over 500 students as an adjunct faculty member at The American University in Cairo, and trained over 300 journalists with several esteemed institutions, including Thomson Reuters Foundation. She also headed The AUC Business Review quarterly magazine as Managing Editor, and reported news for The Associated Press and Reuters.
