Robert is the founder of AFO Finance Group. He is also the Managing Partner and member of its investment committee. His primary responsibilities include overseeing Arrowroot Family Office, a boutique wealth management firm working with a wide range of international and domestic clients to provide specialized investment and family office services and overseeing Arrowroot Partners, a FINRA/SIPC member broker dealer, which focuses on sell-side M&A and capital raising efforts for tech-enabled companies.

Robert has worked at several investment banks and investment firms and is an active angel investor. He began his career at Bear Stearns and continued on to JPMorgan Securities and Salem Partners, before founding Arrowroot Family Office. He has participated in a wide range of transactions and investments over 15 years of experience working in the capital markets, including leveraged buyouts, management buyouts, restructuring, and venture and private equity growth funding.

Robert also leads the investment committee for Ladrillo Fund, a fund of alternative investments and sits on the investment committee for Arrowroot Real Estate, an investment group focused on owning and operating value-add, student housing and multifamily property in strategically targeted submarkets across the United States.

Robert currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Child Development Center and the Los Angeles Leadership Academy. He is a graduate of the the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and holds the NASD Series 24, 7, 79, 65 & 66 licenses.
