Rob Dravenstott, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, is responsible for enterprise information technology strategy and operations at DISH.

Prior to his current role, Rob served as DISH’s vice president of application development and testing, where he delivered company-wide initiatives including the rapid deployment of mobile devices to assist DISH’s nationwide network of field technicians. The DISH IT department was recognized by CIO magazine's 25th annual CIO 100 for this accomplishment.

Rob has led the company’s big data and analytics efforts, supported the implementation of DISH Media Sales’ programmatic TV advertising platform, and helped launch the Sling TV platform.

Before joining DISH, Rob served as vice president of technology for global payment technology firm First Data, overseeing large-scale applications development. Prior to his ten years with First Data, he led development and testing for Achex, an online payments startup.

Rob earned a dual degree in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University. He enjoys climbing Colorado Fourteeners and traveling with his wife, Laura, and their three children.
