Rene Griemens serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Mighty Buildings, Inc. since March 2022.

Previously, Rene was CFO of urban air mobility company Volocopter, where he helped growing the business from 50 to over 500 employees and from USD 120M to just under USD 2BN valuation. Prior to Volocopter, Rene was CFO of Kreditech, a globally operating Fintech company, from 2013-2018, where he raised over USD 500M equity and debt and helped taking it from 60 to 450 people and from EUR 4M to over EUR 80M revenue. Prior to Kreditech, Rene was Managing Director at IEG - Investment Banking from 2004-2013. He served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of dooyoo.com, a pan-European eCommerce business, from 2000 to 2004. Previously he was a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company and before that an Investment Banker at Citibank in Debt Capital Markets, Rating Advisory and Structured Finance. He holds an MBA from INSEAD business school (1999) and a Master of Economics from University of Cologne (1993).
