Piper Foster Wilder came to Alaska with a background in renewable energy. She served most recently as Deputy Director of the Renewable Energy Alaska Project. Prior to moving to Alaska, Piper was Vice President of Amatis Controls, an Internet of Things manufacturing start-up based in Aspen, Colorado. There, she also served as Board Chair of the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association. She is a German Chancellor fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Foster Wilder is past Executive Director of the Aspen-based Sopris Foundation. She is proud to call Alaska her home.
