Phil has been designing and building medical devices for most of his professional career. He has brought numerous products to market and uses that expertise at Norwich Ventures to assess new technologies and assist entrepreneurs with building their companies. Phil currently is a board observer at Svelte Medical Systems. He is also actively involved with Daktari Diagnostics. Previously, he served on the board of Rhythmia Medical (acquired by Boston Scientific).

Prior to joining Norwich Ventures, Phil was the President and COO of Arrow International, with oversight of worldwide R&D and manufacturing. In addition, Phil oversaw opening the first-ever manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic by a U.S. company. Before his thirty-year career at Arrow, Phil was an engineer at Rockwell International and Atlas Chemical Industries. Phil serves on the executive board of the Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania.
