Orlando Gonzales is the Chief of Staff for Engagement at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this position, he serves as an extender to the Chief of Engagement and Deputy Executive Director Dr. Anne C. Beal, MD, MPH. Gonzales works with the executive leadership at PCORI in assisting in the coordinating efforts amongst the executives and carrying out special projects which affect the organization programs and operations. He is an accomplished non-profit professional, having been inducted to Pi Alpha Alpha, the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration, for his academic achievement. Gonzales has worked at the local and national level, where he has significantly impacted numerous communities by both volunteering and holding leadership positions with non-profit organizations.Gonzales comes to PCORI with more than 15 years of experience in business and non-profit management. He earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In 2012, he graduated from the Bernard Baruch School of Public Affairs in New York City with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) as a National Urban Fellow. He successfully completed his fellowship as a Program Officer at the Aetna Foundation, the independent charitable arm of Aetna Inc.
