Noam Karstaedt has been an active manager in the Israeli venture capital industry since his partnership in Medmax Ventures, the first dedicated life science VC fund focused on Israeli startups which began investing in 1992.

In 1998 he raised and managed a second fund, Denali Ventures which was an early investor in Gamida Cell. He has held management and consulting positions in Israel and the United States including a period in San Francisco with management consultants Booz, Allen and Hamilton.

Mr. Karstaedt has a masters in chemical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg South Africa and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, California.
