Mr. Nicholas J. Smither, also know as Nick serves as Group Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Ford Motor Co. Mr. Smither served as Group Vice President of Information Technology of Ford Motor Co. since April 1, 2008. He served as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Ford Motor Co., from April 21, 2006 to April 2008. He served as an Executive Director of Global Information Technology Business Operations of Ford Motor Co. He joined Ford in 1980 and served as an Engineer in Product Development for Ford of Europe and also served as a Systems Analyst and held variety of management positions in Product Development, Finance and Marketing and Sales of Information Technology since 1983. In 1995, Mr. Smither relocated to the U.S. to lead the Information Technology integration of South American locations as part of Ford 2000. Mr. Smither led the Finance Systems team and then the Product Development Systems team of Ford Motor Co.
