Nat Robinson is a serial social entrepreneur who has pioneered companies that transform the lives of impoverished global communities. Nat is the Co-Founder and CEO of Leaf Global Fintech, a company providing the first live, blockchain-based financial solution for refugees and migrants without smartphones or internet connection in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. Leaf was recently acquired by IDT (NYSE: IDT), a global provider of fintech, cloud, and traditional communications services. Nat previously served as the CEO and founder of Juhudi Kilimo Company that provides micro-asset financing to tens of thousands of low-income, rural smallholder farmers across Kenya. Nat’s social enterprises have been recognized by the World Economic Forum, Fast Company, the United Nations, South by Southwest, the National Science Foundation, and the Vatican.Nat is the author of a book entitled Creating a Cash Cow in Kenya and helps teach a Stanford Graduate School of Management MBA class annually through a Harvard Business Review case study that featured Juhudi Kilimo. Nat has also lectured at the Harvard Business School, the Wharton School, Berkeley Hass School of Business, the Columbia Business School, and the United Nations Development Program. Nat has a JD and MBA from Vanderbilt University and has traveled, worked, or studied in over 75 countries across six continents. Nat serves on the board and investment committee of the Better Way Foundation, that works in early childhood development; and serves on the board of the Opus Prize Foundation that recognizes unsung social entrepreneurs globally with a $1 million prize. Nat is a licensed Colorado attorney and a member of the investment committee of the Colorado Bar Association and is a volunteer grant reviewer for the Colorado Office of Economic Trade and International Development.
