Mario Rosati, J.D., was an Assistant Secretary at Aehr Test Systems. Rosati is a Partner at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. He has been with the Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati since 1971, first as an Associate and, since 1975, as a Partner. Rosati’s areas of practice include corporate finance, corporate law and governance, life sciences, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital. He is a Managing Partner at WS Investments and a Senior Advisor at Cardinal Venture Capital. Since 1978, Rosati has specialized in corporate law, especially as it relates to technology companies. He served as a Director of Aehr Test Systems from 1997 to 2008. He is a Member of the Strategic Advisory Board of PacRim Venture Partners. Rosati is an Advisor at Darwin Ventures, LLC. He also serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of EnterVentures. Rosati is a Member of the Panel of Arbitrators, San Mateo County; Board of Advisors, Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation; and Band of Angels. He is an ex officio member of the Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati’s Executive Management Committee.

Rosati is an Adjunct Professor of New Venture Finance at University of California at Berkeley, Haas School of Business since Spring 1995 and of Entrepreneurship at University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in Fall 1995. He was a Guest Lecturer of Forming and Financing the Venture at Stanford Graduate School of Business in Winter 2000; Finding Funds; Legal Issues, Entrepreneurship at University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in Fall 1994 and Spring 1994; Legal Considerations in an Emerging Growth Company, Entrepreneurship at University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in Fall 1994; and many more.

Some Rosati’s speaking engagements include Getting to Market in Europe: Key issues in Regulation and Reimbursement, where he was a Co-moderator at Bohemian Medical Device Summit, Prague, Czech Republic from November 29, 2005 till December 1, 2005; Keynote Speaker on Lessons to Be Learned from the Silicon Valley Experience at China Venture Capital Forum, Shenzhen, China from April 2, 2004 and April 3, 2004; and a Panel Discussion Moderator on Corporate Partnering Opportunities and New Vehicles for Strategic Alliances at The Biotechnology Forum in Spring 1993. Rosati has received an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. From 1982 to 1983 he served as a special consultant to Secretary of Transportation Drew Lewis and Deputy Secretary of Transportation Darrel Trent.

Rosati received a J.D. in 1971 from the University of California, Berkeley’s Boalt School of Law, where he was a Recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Corporations and a B.A. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1968.
