Marc Teillon serves as a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Foundation Funds at Vista Equity Partners, a leading global asset manager. The firm invests exclusively in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled companies. He currently serves as a board member for several companies, including Aptean, Khoros, Naviga and Vena Solutions. He was previously involved in the firm’s investments in DealerSocket, Omnitracs, Quickbase and Sovos Compliance. Prior to joining Vista Equity Partners in 2009, Marc has worked in a variety of roles within the finance and investment industries.

As Vice President in Citi’s Investment Banking Division, Marc advised clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions, public and private equity financings and other strategic advisory initiatives. At Chindex, Marc led network-wide capital raising and budgeting activities for the hospital division. In his role as Director, Finance for Chindex International in China, Marc also managed the finance, accounting, business office, and IT departments for the multi-facility Shanghai market. Earlier in his career, Marc worked at Philips as a member of the launch team for the global molecular diagnostics division, as a Principal at Arcadia Capital Partners, and as an investment professional at The Blackstone Group.

Expanding educational opportunities to those in need is a driving force behind Marc’s community involvement. Supported organizations include The Asia Foundation and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. While Marc has been making contributions to organizations that focus on educational or career opportunities throughout his career, he has also supported those that engage in medical research to combat cancer and rare diseases and support youth athletics, including the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation.
