After graduating from Osaka City University, worked for an investment management company in Japan and overseas. In 1996, he established Japan's first investment trust evaluation company. After selling the company to a global rating company Standard & Poor's in 1999, he participated in the establishment of Think Tank Sofia Bank in 2000 and became the representative in 2013. In addition to serving as deliberation committee members of government ministries and public directors such as the Japan Securities Dealers Association and the J-League, he also serves as an outside director for listed companies such as Shizuoka Bank and Toyota Tsusho.
