Throughout her 20+-year career, Kara Long has worked in several capacities toward one goal – connecting customers with the right opportunities for their growth. Starting with a firmly-held belief that solving customer problems is the singular key to good business, Kara’s outside-in approach couples with her proven business acumen to drive results for HPE and its customers.

As Senior Director of Service Provider Growth Markets within HPE Servers, Kara leads a cross-functional team of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, channel and services professionals with a simple mandate: deliver the right product at the right cost at the right time, every time. Kara and her team turn meaningful customer conversations into delivered infrastructure solutions that help clients win today and grow tomorrow.

Previously, Kara led HPE’s Core Enterprise Server marketing group, managing all outbound marketing efforts for the world’s best-selling server platform. Prior to that, Kara served as an M&A Executive for Dell’s Software Security and Cloud Compute businesses and as Co-Lead of Services Strategy and Consumer Marketing, where she was recognized with the Vice President’s “Most Valuable Player” Award for her stewardship of Dell’s multi-billion dollar Services business.
