Josh Rubin is a photographer, interaction designer and the co-founder and Editor in Chief of Cool Hunting, a thirteen year old digital publication highlighting creativity and innovation in design, technology, style, culture, food and travel. Josh parlayed his loves of aesthetics and technology to a focus on interaction design and user experience, first at Hampshire College, then at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, where his 1999 graduate thesis focused on modular, scalable, touch-screen interfaces. Between 1999 and 2005 he worked on mobile-focused projects at Razorfish, Motorola and Upoc then started Bond Art + Science with several of his former colleagues from Razorfish. Josh started Cool Hunting as a side project in 2003, and quickly decided to turn it in to a business with his husband Evan Orensten. What began as a catalogue of inspiration and well-executed ideas has grown into a Webby Award‑winning online publication read by a global audience of creative professionals.
