Josh focuses on technology businesses in the financial, human resources and real estate verticals and has an interest in the profound effect of technology across all markets. He led investments in Boomtown and Fundera and serves as a board observer at B-Stock and Zyme Solutions. He is actively involved with Credit Karma, the JK Group and iCIMS, and was previously involved with Clearleap (acquired by IBM).

Before SGE, Josh started his career in Pittsburgh at the age of twelve washing dishes and cleaning houses with his mother, who taught him the value of hard work. His investment career began in 2005 when he co-founded Jelser Holdings LLC, a real estate investment firm focused on rental properties. He bought his first property in 2006 and now manages six. Any success in his life can be attributed to his loving mother, father and brother.

Josh graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Yale University.
