Jonathan (Jonny) joined Genesis Partners in 2005 and focuses on Internet and software investments.

He is currently a board member at Innovid, PowerInbox, Eatwith, Any.DO, CommerceSciences and DaPulse. Jonny invested in, and was a board member at, Neebula, (acquired by ServiceNow in 2014) PrimeSense (acquired by Apple in 2013) and Yedda (acquired by AOL in 2007) until their successful acquisitions.

Jonny is responsible for founding and managing The Junction, Israel’s leading early stage accelerator.

Jonny started his career in venture capital in 2000 at Gemini Israel and joined Genesis at the end of 2004. Before venture capital, Jonny worked as Head of International business at UK-based Waterlogic. Prior to this, Jonny joined Barak International Telecom Corp as one of the first employees, helping the company grow to 400 employees and overseeing product management and marketing. Jonny served in the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Jonny holds an MBA from Oxford University and a BA in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University.
