Heather joined Clinverse with 16 years of experience in clinical research operations in the pharmaceutical, medical device and CRO arenas. With extensive experience in both project management and financial management, she has held the leadership responsibility and oversight of a therapeutic division including project management personnel to ensure time, cost and quality execution of client deliverables. Most recently Heather was the Senior Director of the Global Training department at PPD (NASDAQ: PPDI) which focused on performance optimization of clinical trial execution through innovative and efficient use of systems, processes and technology. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at PPD in roles of graduating responsibility including Sr. Project Manager, Associate Director and Director of Project Management in the endocrine, metabolic and immunology therapeutic area where the operations portfolio supported hundreds of millions of dollars in global contract value during the span of 2008-2010. Heather played a key role in the growth of the division by acting as the strategic director and providing leadership, financial oversight, and financial training and mentoring across the project management team.In addition, Ms. Schultz spent several years at Cygnus Inc in Redwood City California as a Clinical Project Manager and CRA Manager where she led the clinical operations and downstream service teams from Phase 2 through PMA submission and FDA approval for a novel device technology. Subsequent to that, Ms. Schultz worked at Dey Pharma as the Regulatory Affairs Manager of Clinical Operations in Napa CA supporting clinical development plan execution with operational oversight for clinical trial execution.Ms. Schultz began her career as a Clinical Research Associate after completing the Honors program and receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud Minnesota.
