Gareth K. Forde, M.D., Ph.D. is a Co-Founder at Amicus Capital Partners (ACP) who has nearly two decades of experience as a researcher, clinician, and entrepreneur. He is co-founder of BabyQ, LLC, a health information technology company that develops mHealth tools to improve health outcomes.


Prior to ACP, Dr. Forde served as Managing Partner and Chief of Medical Affairs at Forde Group Healthcare (FGH), a boutique healthcare consulting firm that he co-founded. During his tenure at FGH, Dr. Forde provided health economics, regulatory and scientific advisory to healthcare and life sciences investment firms, corporations, and early-stage biotechnology, medical devices, and health technology companies. As a part of his advisory work, he advised on M&A transactions and developed strategies for commercialization and financing for early-stage companies as they looked to grow and bring new products and services to market.


Dr. Forde holds many national leadership positions, memberships and affiliations. He serves on the board of Global Sustainable Partnership and the Michigan Quality Improvement in Medicine Foundation, as well as on the Board of Advisors for the Minnesota Future Doctors Program. He is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologist and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologist, and serves as a consultant with Health Management Associates were he advises private and public organizations around topics including healthcare reform, finance, and policy.
