Francois is responsible for Lenovo’s strategy development and execution in the EMEA region for its 3 major business engines-PCs, mobiles and Data Center solutions. He leads a team of 3,600 employees in 140 countries and 50 offices. He is a member of the Lenovo Global Leadership Team.Previously, Francois was VP/COO Lenovo EMEA. Since taking the position in 2012 he more than doubled the company’s PC market share in the region from 10% to a record-high of 21.1% and consolidated Lenovo’s position as a solid #2 vendor in EMEA, closing the gap on the #1.He also played a critical role in the transformation of the company following the acquisitions of Medion, the IBM System x division and Motorola Mobility, dramatically expanding the Lenovo business operations to become a leading technology company.Before joining Lenovo he held senior roles within other global companies: VP/GM of Nokia France and BeNeLux; President, Palm EMEA; VP Eastern Europe and Africa, HP and VP Compaq EMEA.
