Dr. Norman Blum joined APS Advisory GmbH in 2011 in order to help improve portfolio company performance. Prior to APS Advisory GmbH Dr. Norman Blum spent the last 6 years in operating roles with two Permira portfolio companies, Rodenstock GmbH and Provimi Holding B.V. At Provimi, Dr. Norman Blum’s roles ranged from being the Head of the PMO (program management office), Marketing & Technical Director for their operations in Poland & Ukraine, and most recently he has been Integration Manager globally for the business. At Rodenstock, Dr. Blum was responsible for strategy and the transformation program office. Prior to joining Permira’s portfolio companies, Dr. Norman Blum was at A.T. Kearney GmbH for 6 years, and before that he was at Bayer AG. Over his career, Dr. Norman Blum has spent significant time working throughout Europe, Asia, and Mexico.
