Chris Hollod is a venture capitalist, angel investor, and advisor in Los Angeles, and Hollod is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Tailwind Acquisition Corp., a $334 million public special purpose acquisition company.

Hollod is an expert negotiator, and over the course of his career, he has completed more than 150 deals across five different investment entities, including investments in Uber, Airbnb, Houzz, Spotify, Pinterest, Duolingo, Airtable, Oscar Health, Flexport, Casper, and Warby Parker.

Hollod is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Hollod Holdings, a venture capital and advisory entity based in Los Angeles that focuses on innovative consumer start-ups.

From 2009 to 2017, Hollod was the Venture Partner for multi-billionaire investor Ron Burkle’s family office, The Yucaipa Companies.

Hollod was also the Managing Partner of A-Grade Investments alongside actor Ashton Kutcher and talent manager Guy Oseary. The fund invested in more than 100 high-profile consumer technology start-ups and raised outside capital from other reputable investors including Mark Cuban, David Geffen, Eric Schmidt, and Marc Benioff.

Prior to becoming a Venture Capitalist, Hollod was an Investment Banker.

Hollod graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Vanderbilt University with degrees in Economics, Finance, and Philosophy.
