Charlie Nunn was appointed Chief Executive, Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) and became a Group Managing Director in January 2018.

Previously, Mr Nunn was Head of Group Retail Banking and Wealth Management, leading the Group teams supporting HSBC’s Retail and Wealth businesses globally.

Since joining HSBC in 2011, Mr Nunn has held a range of other leadership positions including Group Head of Wealth Management and Global Chief Operating Officer for RBWM.

Mr Nunn has extensive financial services experience, having worked in the industry since the early 1990s. He began his career at Accenture where he worked for 13 years in the US, France, Switzerland and the UK and became a Partner. He then moved to McKinsey & Co as a Senior Partner.

Mr Nunn holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He lives in London and is married with four children.
