Cece Stewart joined the Citi team in January 2011 as the President of U.S. Consumer and Commercial Banking and has responsibility for Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Small Business Banking and Citi Personal Banking and Wealth Management (CPBWM). Cece is a member of the firm's Operating Committee as well as the Global Consumer Management Committee.

Prior to joining Citi, Cece was the President of the Retail Banking Group and CEO of Morgan Stanley Private Bank N.A., as well as a member of the firm's Management Committee. She joined Morgan Stanley in January 2009 and was responsible for building all aspects of retail banking, including deposits, loans, the credit and debit card business, and mortgages as well as managing Morgan Stanley's trust company.

Previously, Cece served as Executive Vice President and Head of Retail and Small Business Bank at Wachovia from 2003 to 2008, where she oversaw all retail banking operations for the company. She had been employed by the company since 1978 in a variety of regional banking positions.

Cece attended the University of South Carolina and graduated from Winthrop University's Executive Master of Business Administration program with honors in 1993. She is on the Foundation Board for Winthrop University and was also the prior Chair of the Consumer Bankers Association. Cece was appointed to the board of directors of United States Cellular Corporation in 2013.

Cece's achievements have been recognized by various industry publications. Fortune has twice named her as one of the "50 Most Powerful Women in Business" and American Banker has recognized her several times as one of the "Most Powerful Women in Banking." Cece is an experienced, dynamic business leader with over 30 years of industry experience.
