Carolyn M. Ticknor is the retired president of Hewlett-Packard's Imaging and Printing business. As president, Ticknor had full product line responsibility for this $20.5 billion global business, HP's largest and most profitable business. She led the integration of LaserJet, Inkjet, and the Imaging product lines to leverage and capitalize on HP's leading market share position. She created two new growth market initiatives in digital imaging and commercial printing.

Prior to this position, Ms. Ticknor served as president of Hewlett-Packard's LaserJet Solutions Group, spearheading product development and successful worldwide launch of the first color LaserJet and multi-function LaserJets (print, copy, scan, fax) and developed the "distribute, then print" vision that has become the basis for today's digital printing. Ms. Ticknor grew LaserJet revenue from $3 billion to $9 billion and increased its global market share from 40 to 60%. Throughout her career at HP (1977-2001) she led numerous alliances, strategic partnerships and acquisitions.

Ticknor holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Redlands (Calif.), a master's degree in industrial psychology from San Francisco State University, and a master's degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
