Cameron is an Investment Manager based in Nashville, TN. Cameron is a founding member and managing partner of Relevance Capital and President/COO of Nest-TN, LLC a State of Tennessee certified TNInvestco. Cameron also owns and operates a management and business-consulting venture, 4Ignition Enterprises, LLC that is primarily focused on providing specialty-consulting services to high growth companies. Before founding Relevance Capital and 4Ignition, Cameron ran derivatives trading for Unum Group from 2009-2011, hedging interest rate risk on the company’s $40 billion investment portfolio. Prior to Unum, Cameron was Vice President and head of high-yield basic industries sales and trading research at Wachovia Securities from 2005-2009. He began his career as a distressed debt analyst for Banc of America Securities in 2000 where he remained in various capacities until 2005. While at Banc of America Securities Cameron was a member of a highly regarded basic industries research team that was ranked #1 by Institutional Investor magazine, a distinction that would follow the team across firms. Newton is a proud graduate of Stanford University where he received his degree in Economics and was a member of the baseball team. He currently serves on the Boards of portfolio companies SIGNiX, Agilum Healthcare Intelligence, Consensus Point, Opti-Logic Corporation and J2 Software Solutions.
