Bill Reiland is a senior investment professional and chief investment officer of the Expansion Credit team. Over the course of his 31 years of experience, Mr. Reiland has invested, structured, and marketed over 100 credit and equity transactions representing over $10Bn. Mr. Reiland initially joined Morgan Stanley in 1993 and became Head of Morgan Stanley’s Global High Yield Debt Research department in 2001. In 2006, Mr. Reiland joined Morgan Stanley Principal Investments (“MSPI”) where he led and executed private investments on behalf of Morgan Stanley. In 2008, Mr. Reiland left Morgan Stanley and joined Leerink Swann, where he was responsible for originating, structuring and marketing debt securities. Mr. Reiland rejoined Morgan Stanley in 2014 to lead the NH Expansion Credit effort. Mr. Reiland graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an MBA, with distinction, from the Tuck School of Graduate Business Administration, where he was a Tuck Scholar. Mr. Reiland currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Union Theological Seminary.
