Bill Conroy joined the Kareo board of directors in August, 2012. As a proven technology executive, he brings a wealth of expertise in corporate strategy and operations to Kareo. His operational experience ranges from managing high growth billion dollar organizations to IPO and acquisition experience with smaller organizations. Presently, Bill serves on the board of several corporations.

Until early 2011, Bill served as an IBM Solutions Executive in IBM’s Information Management Organization assisting in transitioning his former company (Initiate Systems, Inc.) into IBM. At Initiate, he was President, Chief Executive Officer and director in 2002 and orchestrated the sale of the company to IBM in March of 2010. Initiate Systems became a dominant international vendor and thought leader in healthcare with over 2500 health care sites, over 50 health information exchanges, and leading healthcare payer organizations.

In 2011, Bill served as the President / Chief Operating Officer and Director of Click Commerce (Nasdaq: CKCM), a provider of Channel Management business-to-business software products. Before Click Commerce he served as a Venture Partner with Insight Capital Group where his role was to provide in-depth operational assistance and CEO coaching to Insight’s information technology portfolio companies.

Prior to Insight , Bill was the EVP and COO of TenFold Corporation, which provided large scale e-business applications. During his tenure from 1997 to 2000 Tenfold revenue increased from $14 million to $92 million. TenFold enjoyed a successful Initial Public Offering in May 1999 (Nasdaq: TENF).

Bill held executive leadership positions at Oracle for 11 years before joining TenFold. During that time Oracle became a public company and revenues grew from $46 million to $5.7 billion. He held several positions, most recently Group Vice President of the U.S. Sales Division where he managed more than $1 billion in sales and over 1000 employees. Bill was one of the youngest ever vice presidents at Oracle and named Oracle’s most valuable player. He was the primary author in the design and implementation of Oracle’s International Field Sales and third-party relationship models..

Bill began his career at IBM where he held various sales positions. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1981 with a BS in Business Administration. He is married with four daughters and lives outside Chicago in Hinsdale, IL.
