Bertrand is based in London, and covers both the UK and French-speaking deal flow.
In late 2010, he joined Greencoat from Terra Firma Capital Partners where he lead a wide variety of LBO and re-financing transactions as well as being involved in portfolio business management (including refinancing of AWAS Ltd and financial and operational turnaround of EMI Music).

Before joining Terra Firma in 2007, Bertrand worked at Merrill Lynch M&A advisory group as part of the Industrials and Infrastructure teams for five years. Previously, Bertrand developed extensive operational experience after eight years at Procter & Gamble in supply chain and purchasing management as well as in French engineering SMEs.
He sits on the boards of four of ESB NM LP's investments: Nualight, Heliex, Geothermal International, and Cylon Controls.

Bertrand holds an MSc in General Engineering from ICAM and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
