Anish Thakkar is a Co-Founder of Greenlight Planet, a social enterprise focussed on manufacturing and mass, grass-roots distribution of long-lasting, ultra-affordable solar lights for rural families. Anish oversees the company's expansive village direct sales network, comprising over 800 active village entrepreneurs today. In its first nine commercial quarters Greenlight has delivered life-changing solar lights to 200,000 "off-grid" homes.


Prior to Greenlight Planet, Anish Thakkar worked with ZS Associates, the world's largest sales and marketing consultancy. Anish is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and currently resides in Mumbai, India.
