Dr. Strayer brings 20 years of clinical research experience in academia and the pharmaceutical industry to Clinverse. Dr. Strayer is currently Executive Vice President, Product Registration, Americas for PRA International. PRA is a leading global CRO that is transforming the clinical trial landscape through its people, innovation, and transparency.

Prior to joining PRA, Dr. Strayer was the Vice President of Clinical Operations for Gloucester Pharmaceuticals, a company subsequently acquired by Celgene. Prior to Gloucester, he was the Vice President of Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs at Naryx Pharma, Inc.

Prior to joining Naryx Dr. Strayer spent 11 years at PPD (NASDAQ: PPDI), a large global CRO where his last position was Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for the Americas and Asia. He was responsible for leading over 3,000 PPD employees across 28 offices on 3 continents. This was PPD’s largest business unit with total annual revenue of hundreds of millions of dollars.

Prior to joining PPD, Dr. Strayer was an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and a staff member of the HIV Clinic and the Infectious Disease Consult Team at the Kansas University Medical Center.

Dr. Strayer received both his B.S. and Pharm.D. from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and Roger Williams Medical Center.
