Andrew Thomas is an entrepreneur, writer, speaker and investor. He is Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of SkyBell, and Internet of Things (IoT) company that pioneered the smart video doorbell. Andrew is regarded as as one of the best dealmakers and influencers in IoT. Inc.com listed him as the #3 most influential person in IoT and Entrepreneur Magazine called him "one of the top entrepreneurs in IoT".

Andrew excels at multiple skill sets. He can pair vision and big ideas with the go-to-market, business development and marketing initiatives to make them successful. He's proven this with SkyBell.

As a technology visionary in IoT, Andrew contributed to dozens of hardware patents at SkyBell, and is responsible for most of the software patents. He drove the patents for Digital Neighborhood watch, package verification systems, proactive crime prevention with AI and facial recognition, and 3rd party verification of entrants at the door. He also led SkyBell to be the first doorbell on most cloud-driven smart home platforms during the smart home boom of 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Andrew sees how markets, consumption and technology collide. He backs that up with proven sales and revenue abilities - having created partnerships and B2B deals with Honeywell, Alarm.com and Comcast.

In terms of going to market, Andrew understands branding, and excels in content marketing. He understands how narrative and influence drive branding and exposure.

Andrew started his career as a member of the Google search relevancy team. A sense of adventure led him to Shanghai, China where he managed web development projects for one of China’s largest video game development companies. Andrew graduated from the University of Southern California.
