Andrew Reiter is Shield AI’s Co-Founder and Technical Fellow. Prior to founding Shield AI, Andrew led the development and deployment of one of Draper Lab's most successful visual-inertial guidance systems that is now widely deployed on programs of critical importance. In addition to his work on visual-inertial guidance, Andrew led both Draper's autonomous exploring quadrotor program and 3D-mapping for dense environment reconstruction program. He also has experience developing stereo, and RGB-D SLAM systems for GPS-challenged navigation of humans, robots, cars, and UAVs. Andrew earned his Master’s in Robotics at Harvard University, and his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University.
