Anand brings over 27 years of executive management experience, technology expertise, and business relationships from his distinguished career at solid growth companies namely Xerox, CSC, BEA Systems, TIBCO and Autodesk. He is M&A Director for Intel’s Internet of Things Group (IOTG) and responsible for framework development, target identification, deal negotiation and post-close integration. His areas of focus are intelligent transportation, connected logistics, autonomous vehicles, unmanned systems and software defined cockpit. Previously, he was Vice President and CTO at Xerox where he led strategy development and execution of technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships for long-term competitiveness and sustained success.Earlier, at CSC and SAIC, Anand created the global IoT practice to drive growth in Defense and Aerospace markets. He defined and implemented the managed services offering for IoT, and built successful client relationships with C-level decision makers. Previously in 2001, Anand assembled a top-tier team of sales, marketing and technology experts to create the first successful silicon valley based IoT company. He served as founding member of EPCglobal and drove the development of DNS/ONS based architecture to enable the Internet of Things (IoT). At BEA Systems, he spearheaded the creation of SOA based collaboration platform and grew the market capital to $30B+.Anand has Master of Science in Engineering awarded by Columbia University in 1989 and Bachelor of Technology (Honors) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has served as chairman of NVTC’s ebusiness committee, and is co-author of three books on sensors, net-centric computing and network security.
