Alvin Liu is the founder, Chairman and CEO of A8, a digital music company providing music and culture-related content to mobile users in China. In 2011 Liu was elected as a member of the third Shenzhen Technology and Science Professional Committee.


In 2010 Liu resigned as CEO of A8 and remained as the Chairman of the group. He is responsible for the overall management and strategic planning.


Liu graduated from the Hunan University in China in 1984 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He also received a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the China Electric Power Research Institute in 1987.
