Allan Tessler has served as a member of our board of directors since February 2015, and as lead independent director since October 2015.

He is currently Director of online brokerage firm TD Ameritrade, and lead Director and Chair of the finance committee of L Brands, Inc., parent company to the Victoria’s Secret, PINK, Bath & Body Works, La Senza and Henri Bendel consumer brands. Allan was also Chairman of the Board of Epoch Investment Partners, Inc.; Board Member and chairman Emeritus of the Hudson Institute; and member of the Board of Governors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Since 1987, he has been Chairman of the Board and CEO of International Financial Group, Inc., an international merchant banking firm. Prior to this, Allan was CEO of J Net Enterprises (now Epoch Investment Partners); co-Chairman and co-CEO of Data Broadcasting Corporation (now Interactive Data Corporation); Chairman of Enhance Financial Services Group, Inc.; and Chairman and principal shareholder of Great Dane Holdings. He is also a board member of a number of private companies with interests in the medical device and drug areas.

Allan holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University and an L.L.B. from Cornell University Law School.
