Alexander Hoptner (born 1970) took up the post of a Member of the Management Board at Boerse Stuttgart GmbH on 1 January 2017. His area of responsibility is the Sales and Information Technology resort. Alexander Höptner was appointed Spokesman of the Management Board of Boerse Stuttgart GmbH and of EUWAX AG with effect from January 1st, 2018.

Alexander Hoptner spent the period from 2001-2015 with Deutsche Börse AG, where he sat on the executive committees for the Cash Market and Information Technology divisions. After leaving Deutsche Börse AG, he formed two start-ups with a view to creating a global marketplace for trading in virtual goods.
