Alex Fader is Chief Legal Officer at SALT where he is responsible for managing legal department operations, including over the company’s lending business and other product lines as well as commercial transactions. He also manages SALT’s internal compliance functions. Prior to joining SALT, he was in the corporate department of an international law firm where he focused on structured finance, asset-backed loans, and syndicated loan transactions. While in private practice he served as outside counsel to national banks and corporate trustees in connection with the closing of over 10 billion dollars in collateralized loan obligations. Alex has a J.D. degree and B.B.A. in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.
