IAN Fund is a non-profit fund designed to support the children and families of avalanche victims
The International Avalanche Nest-Egg is a non-profit fund designed to support the children and families of avalanche victims, as well as provide educational and preventative services aimed at reducing avalanche fatalities worldwide. The IAN fund was founded in 2013 in loving memory of skier Ian Lamphere, who was killed in the Loveland Pass avalanche in April of that year. Over $40,000 was raised to support his fiancee and baby daughter Madelyn. Three short months later, the IAN fund was created to help others facing the same tragic and sudden sense of loss.
