The Company was founded in 2005 by Miloš Endrle. Geewa is an online and mobile games company based in Prague. It has two major lines of business: it develops and publishes casual competitive multiplayer games for mobile devices (phones, tablets) and browsers (such as Facebook games) and it powers a portal for mobile multiplayer online games.

Geewa was awarded the Red Herring 100 Europe award in 2013.

The Company raised USD 2.2 million in Series A funding from Poland’s MCI Ventures in 2007
In 2014, Geewa closed a funding round totaling USD 4.2 million. Lead Investor of this financing round was KKCG Ventures with participation of existing investor, MCI Ventures
KKCG and MCI hold a majority of the Company shares, the rest is attributable to angel investors

In 2010 the Company published Pool Live Tour 1 on Facebook and shortly after on mobile platforms. The title is still one of the most popular pool games on Facebook with hundreds of thousands of daily active users.
