The World Economic Forum partnered with Accenture and Microsoft to launch a new metaverse platform titled Global Collaboration Village, yesterday. The platform aims to educate organizations about the metaverse while delivering solutions for existing pressing problems.
The Accenture chairman also adds that the next generation of headsets, including Meta’s newly launched Quest Pro, is built with innovative technology to completely eliminate motion sickness.
When questioned about the cost of building the platform in partnership with Microsoft, Sweet added that Accenture is not looking to gain profits but to shape the technology at scale via this project.
