The FoodRoom is building a network of coworking space for food entrepreneurs.
The FoodRoom is the first culinary coworking space of its kind in North America. Launched by Amelie Morency, then founder and owner of an eco-responsible catering service. She faced the hard reality of food business owners who can't afford state of the art kitchen facility. The FoodRoom wants to democratize the food industry by giving access to a professional production kitchen, multipurpose coworking space as well as meaningful events and workshops for growing a food business. The first kitchen opened its door on August 15th, 2016, in Montreal, Canada.
