Norwich University, a small New England college located in Northfield,Vermont, is the home of the ROTC and offers the full range of academicand professional programs to cadets and others.The ROTC program, which trains cadets, is one of Norwich’s morenoteworthy academic offerings. However, non-cadets also attend to takeadvantage of undergraduate liberal arts and science degrees as well asprofessional majors in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering,Pre-Law and Pre-Medicine.Graduate degrees at Norwich are delivered through online study. Onlinemaster’s degrees are awarded in such fields as Diplomacy, Education,Military History, Civil Engineering, Public Administration and Nursing.Based in the experiential learning model, Norwich’s curriculum uses acombination of experiential and theoretical techniques, a highlyeffective strategy for long-term integration of knowledge.Since it is an ROTC-friendly school, there are several benefitsfinancially and otherwise for current and former military.Other financial aid options include loans, grants and scholarships forthose who qualify.Applicants will need to submit an application, a personal statement, atranscript, and test scores to the admissions department. Letters ofrecommendation are also strongly suggested.
